BENEFITS: BG Engine Purge is an effective blend of solvents and dispersants which will quickly and safely remove accumulated sludge and other deposits from the engine. BG Engine Purge can actually restore compression by removing soot and deposits from around the rings; hence, the compression rings seal in compression gases. BG Engine Purge contains no chlorinated solvents and is environmentally safe. It may be safely used in conventional, diesel and rotary engines. Use of BG Engine Purge restores lost power and performance that occurs from accumulated engine deposits.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Bring engine to operating temperature. Shut engine off. 2. Drain oil and refill with new oil. 3. Bring engine to operating temperature. Shut engine off. 4. Add 1 quart (946 mL) of BG Engine Purge to 1 gallon (4 Liters) of engine oil. 5. Restart engine and run at fast idle (1200–1500 rpm) for 15–20 minutes. 6. Change oil and filter. Add one 11 oz. (325 mL) can of BG MOA® to crankcase.
WARNING: Should engine overheat or oil pressure drop during or after procedure, shut engine off immediately. In older engines or engines which are suspected of containing heavy amounts of sludge or other deposits, it is strongly recommended that the oil pump inlet screen (located in the lowest portion of the oil pan) be inspected and cleaned separately, both before and after treatment with BG Engine Purge. Do not drive vehicle until BG Engine Purge has been removed and new oil has been added. Not recommended for use in motorcycles utilizing a wet clutch.
